Baptism is an outward expression of what God is doing inside of your heart. It is also a physical representation of your salvation. We are lowered in the death of our sins or raised to life by the grace and mercy of Jesus' sacrifice for us on the Cross.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold the new has come."
