Christ’s “Advent” or coming is the most significant event that gives true value to the Christmas celebration. A passionate prophet named Isaiah foretold Christ's Advent several hundred years prior to that night in Bethlehem where God incarnate became a reality.

“For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given…” Isaiah 9:6

His coming changed the world and continues to transform our lives as we acknowledge his sovereignty in our everyday lives.

Isaiah continues to pen the words: “and the government shall be upon his shoulders”. Jesus’ Advent declares God’s sovereignty in the universe that he alone created.

Christ’s Advent is also significant as heaven announces to all of the world “that his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”.

Jesus’ arrival and introduction resonates the Christmas spirit that we all love and adore.
