The Lord’s Prayer is one of the most crucial teachings on prayer. In this small portion of scripture Jesus so masterfully teachers his followers how they ought to pray. We have taken each verse from this prayer and provided a specific liturgy to practice each portion.
We encourage you to read a liturgy in a prayerful posture, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you, and explore any verses that might continue your worshipful time.
Matthew 6:9–13 (ESV)
9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread,
12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
