Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Liturgy:

Your kingdom come. Your will be done.

We are not blind
to the hurt, pain, and groans of this world.
In fact, we long for the day
when faith, hope, and love rule over all,
when swords are turned to plow sheds,
and enemies to friends.

And even if we cannot see your kingdom
fully at this time,
we are reminded
by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus
that your kingdom is at hand.
We are renewed by your Holy Spirit
producing in us the fruits of your kingdom.

May we be filled with your Spirit.
Let us overflow with your presence.
Let it be evident in our lives
that we recognize your kingdom.
Create in us a new heart, O God.
One where you reign with all authority,
and it is not our will but Your will be done

on earth as it is in heaven.
